Medco Health Solutions, Inc., a leading pharmacy benefit manager with the nation's largest mail order-pharmacy operations, assists its customers to moderate the cost and enhance the quality of prescription drug benefits provided to members nationwide. Currently over 2.3 million prescriptions are filled on a yearly basis from our centrally located pharmacy. The integration of a sophisticated pharmacy management system with the automated fulfillment platform allows our clinical team to work in a near paperless environment, and enables the pharmacy division to complete in excess of 9,000 prescriptions daily. Key technologies embedded in the automated platform include advanced counting devices along with product verification equipment that are unique in design within the industry. RxCrossroads™ is able to segregate clients’ inventories and product shipments. Program activity is reported through our web-based reporting solutions.
Receives, processes, and distributes specimens to the appropriate testing location. Prepares reagents, label tubes and specimen containers for testing. Loads and unloads patient samples onto specified instruments. Assists medical technologists with multiple routine and specialty assays utilizing established procedures. Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision. Performs customer service duties.
Inbound call-taker that investigate and resolve pharmacy operational issues that include but are not limited to: pharmacy adjudication errors, payment errors, pricing disputes, lease line problems, switching company problems, pharmacy software errors, contracting issues, and credentialing issues. These issues are received via the Network Contracting and Management ACD phone line, Pharmacy Operations email route, Houston SRs, Compass Referrals, and the pharmacy portal. Customers include pharmacies, Call Center, Switch Companies, Account Management, and clients. In addition, initiates outbound calls for a variety of industry reasons.
